Facebook can be a great tool to share your work and get feedback
Reflection is a critical component to your process, growth, understanding and creativity. The Facebook Group: Dibden Learning Community is set up to give you a place to practice posting your reflections and getting feedback--as well as giving feedback--about your experiences. Post a picture or comment on one that is already there. Don't simply "like" the post or picture, but give it some thought. relate the post to your experience and do a little research about the topic. When you find an interesting link, such as a YouTube video, include the link in your post. Tell us why you included this link and make an intelligent meaningful comment about it. It doesn't have to be long, just authentic!
You are Not in Kansas Anymore
Facebook is a powerful and familiar tool. Unlike Elementary or Secondary school, we can access and use it in college as part of our class work. Currently 90% of job recruiters use Facebook and Google search to check your on line persona and look for issues that may effect your application. A resume is only as good as the verification of its content that can be demonstrated online. You must take control of your online persona. Google yourself regularly to see what comes up.
